Binkley Street Construction Update

Tomorrow morning, June 25th, the Redoubt Avenue and Binkley Street intersection will be closed. Binkley Street will continue to be closed to local traffic from North of Riverview Avenue to North of Redoubt Avenue. This closure is expected to last 5 weeks. Once completed, Binkley Street will be open from the Redoubt Intersection South and construction will take place between Marydale Avenue and Redoubt Avenue.

Summer Events at the Library!

Where can you go for movies, science, stories, reading, food and more? The Soldotna Library of course. Come visit us at the library, there is something going on all summer long for children, teens and adults. Visit the library page for program descriptions and times and we’ll see you at the library!

Planning & Zoning Commission Recruitment
The City of Soldotna has an opening on the Soldotna Planning & Zoning Commission, effective May 19, 2014.

• Seat D – this appointment will serve the balance of a term ending on 12/31/2015. (Applicants may reside outside of Soldotna City Limits; however, must own real property within Soldotna City Limits) [Financial Disclosure Statement required, AS 39.50]

Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 177 N. Birch Street, Soldotna, Alaska.
