MAYOR & COUNCIL
Mayor Peter A. Micciche
Peter has lived in the Soldotna area for over 26 years and served on the Soldotna City Council prior to becoming the Mayor.
Peter received his BA (Summa) in management at the Alaska Pacific University and he manages Asset and Operating Integrity for ConocoPhillips in Alaska. In addition to owning and operating small businesses in Soldotna, he has spent his 25-year career in the production, regulatory compliance and safety of natural gas processing and gas transmission, pipeline operations and management.
Peter is a Registered Environmental Manager, an emergency response incident commander, and holds certifications in firefighting, Pipeline Safety Management and Infrastructure Protection.
He currently holds a seat on the Coast Guard's Cook Inlet Area Maritime Security Committee, on the NFPA 59A Standards Committee and is a member of the Alaska Partnership for Infrastructure Protection. He has also served on the National Association of State Fire Marshall's Emergency Response Planning team and has presented and spoken widely throughout the U.S. on the subject of the energy safety management and emergency response.
Peter also enjoys serving the community on various boards such as the Boys and Girls Club, the Kenai Peninsula Economic Development District and the Leeshore Center, volunteers extensively for various community service organizations and is a member of Soldotna Rotary. He remains committed to the health of the Kenai River and coordinated the construction of one of Soldotna's first fishwalks at Swiftwater Park in the 90's. He was awarded Industry Community Person of the Year in 1998 and 2004 and was recognized by the Soldotna Chamber of Commerce in 2008 for his commitment to serving area youth.
Peter is married to Erin Micciche and they have three daughters, Madeline (14) Sophia (3) and Luci (7 months).
Peter enjoys the Alaska outdoors with his family, fishing, hunting, playing hockey, skiing, snow-machining and is an extremely poor, but improving golfer. |

Council Member Brenda Hartman, Seat B
Council Member Hartman was elected to Seat B in 2009. She was re-elected in 2011. Her term ends in October 2014. |
Council Member Dale Bagley, Seat C
Council Member Dale Bagley was born in Fairbanks while his parents were attending the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. After college they moved back to the Kenai Peninsula. Dale currently lives in the City of Soldotna.
Dale graduated from Soldotna High School in 1982. He attended AVTEC in Seward, where he obtained a Forestry Technician degree. Dale served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps performing security duty while stationed in Hawaii. After the military, he attended the University of Alaska, in Fairbanks and Anchorage.
Dale has worked as a fire fighter for the U.S. Forest Service; for the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association at remote sites counting fish; as a camp manager on the Alyeska Pipeline; and as a Purchasing Agent at Alyeska Resort.
Dale obtained his real estate license in 1994, and actively sold land and recreational property until 2000, when he let his license lapse due to being elected Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor. In 2005, he started to actively sell real estate again. Dale and his wife Debbie own Redoubt Realty. Dale was named Realtor of the Year for 2010.
In 1994 Dale was elected to the Soldotna City Council, and in 1995 he was elected to the Borough Assembly. He served two full terms as Kenai Peninsula Borough Mayor, being elected in 1999 and 2002. In 2009 Dale was again elected to the Soldotna City Council, currently occupying Seat C.
Dale has served on the Board of Directors for the Kenai Peninsula Food Bank, Cook Inlet Aquaculture Association, Cook Inlet Spill & Response, Inc., Rotary, the Kenai Peninsula Multiple Listing Service, and the Kenai Peninsula Association of Realtors. Dale was also President of the 2006 Arctic Winter Games Host Society. He is the past President of the Kenai Peninsula Association of Realtors and is currently on the Kenai Peninsula Builders Association Board of Directors.
Dale enjoys hunting, fishing, snow-machining and most any outdoor activity. Dale and Debbie have a cabin on Lower Cohoe Lake where they like to canoe, kayak, boat, snow-machine, and hang out by the bonfire with family and friends. |
Council Member Regina Daniels, Seat D
Regina has lived in Alaska since 1974; she is employed by Davis Block & Concrete in Soldotna where she manages the operations of their concrete block and ready mix facilities in Soldotna and K-Beach locations.
She is a member of the Associated General Contractors of Alaska, National Association of Women in Construction and also involved with the Kenai Peninsula Builders Association.
Regina was a founding member of the Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions and helped develop the club for the young motocross racers in the community to have a place to ride and compete with other youth in the state. KPRL also provided a chain of summer events in the Kenai/Soldotna area attracting hundreds of participants.
She is a semi-retired snowmobile racer; in 2003 she was the Alaska State Champion in the Women’s Pro Class in Snocross and she currently competes in the Arctic Man Ski & Snogo Classic in Summit Lake, Alaska where she’s placed 1st in 2006, 2007 & 2008.
Regina and her husband Scott reside in Soldotna. Some of her other interests include running, snowmobiling, triathlons, traveling, cycling, drawing and design. She also enjoys managing her husband’s Iron Dog race team and watching her step children Cory and Carly compete in the ISOC National Snocross races. |

 Council Member Kyle Fisher, Seat E
Council Member Kyle Fisher was born in Anchorage and raised in the Mat-Su Valley. He graduated from Colony High School in 2000.
Kyle has been in the transportation industry since 2002. He is the Soldotna Service Center Manager at Lynden Transport, Inc.
Kyle and his wife Anna have lived in Soldotna since 2008. Anna is a teacher at Homer High School.
Kyle is currently the Vice President of the Kenai Chamber of Commerce, the Vice President of the Alaska Support IndustryAlliance-Kenai Peninsula Chapter, and is on the Board of Directors for the Kenai Watershed Forum. Kyle is also a volunteer track and field coach at Homer High School. |
