CENTRAL
PENINSULA CRIME STOPPERS, INC
The
mission of Crime Stoppers is to develop as an effective crime
solving organization throughout the Kenai Peninsula utilizing
the Community, Media, and Law Enforcement in “Working Together
to Solve Crime.” The local
program, which started in 1983, is a community-based
organization which offers cash rewards for information that
leads to the arrest of felony suspects. Calls to Crime
Stoppers at 283-TIPS or 1-800-478-HALT are taken 24 hours per
day, 7 days per week on a dedicated non-recorded line which
does not use Caller ID. Once a tip is received, it is
forwarded to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
