The City of Soldotna Regular Election is held on the first Tuesday of October. City elections are administered by the City Clerk. The City Council may, by resolution, call a special election at any time, upon the publication of proper notice. [Soldotna Municipal Code 2.16.080]
Absentee/Early Voting by Mail
You may apply to have an absentee/early ballot mailed to you by filing your written absentee/early ballot request form no earlier than the first of the year in which the election is to be held, nor less than seven calendar days before an election. Download the absentee/early voting by mail request application. Please note: The City of Soldotna does NOT fax ballots at this time.
Early Voting in Person

Registration applications are available at Soldotna City Hall. For information on registering to vote, contact the City Clerk at 907-262-9107, the State of Alaska Division of Elections at 907-522-VOTE, or visit the State's website at http://www.elections.alaska.gov/. A person must be registered to vote at a residence address within Soldotna City limits at least 30 calendar days before the City election in which the person seeks to vote.
